So we went to a friend's house, so Remy could fix computers there. And you know, it worked out pretty bloody well. Remy was going to charge $25 for it, and her dad decided to double it. He was so enthusiastic about it! I like people like that, they are just, well, real. He wasn't one of those normal parental types I've run into, he was really cool. and his pyjama pants still had a tag on them. And there is the promise of more work in the future, in cluding training in some sort of program, and he promised us dinner as well. And that is always a good thing.
So then we got groceries. Hooray for food! We have much edibles now that should last a good long while, including flour. I missed having flour, it's just a good thing to have in a kitchen. And meat, and a huge sack of frozen peas, and two crates of ramen. And Mikes Cranberry lemonade, because it's that sort of a night. It's things like work! It has money! It looks good on a resume! And it means we can eat! I got a nice big tub of honey, too. :)
