Profile

The old bio was so ... old. So much has changed. I'm switching, very slowly, to friends only, when I am motivated to do so. Some entries will be left up, though, mainly to show the sorts of things one is likely to find in here. Err, not really. I don't generally write like that, those are what you get when I'm very bored and especially creative. In any case, this is more or less my home. Poisoned pens (err, keys?) and bitter words, giddy silliness, sewing projects and random art. And quizzes, can't forget those. I've mostly cut out the drama though, as I'm almost completely reclusive at this point, aside from occasionally going to the club and not talking to people there.

I always hated the friends only pages that leave nothing, no sign of who lives in those words, what the personality is, the vaguest possible bio. I like to know what I'm getting myself into. So I give the same consideration here. If you want in, let me know, I'll probably add you.

Clearly, I have interests. This does not begin to cover them, and most are just flavours in the stew, but it's a start. They sort of wander all over the place, and have no real degree of continuity, or even connection half the time. They simply are.

New Stuff!
I'm sort of slowly turning into a real live tailor-type thing. Yes, I know, after this many years i should be able to claim that title, but it's a little easier when there's a store that has my special order catalogue in it, and will soon be carrying small runs of ready-mades. Heh. Who knew that moving out to the godforsaken griddle of America would be a good idea after all?

The site for the store, when it gets up and running, is here. There's not much there at the moment, but there are a couple photos. More will go up in time. Also, look at my sewing journal if that interests you. Frankly, I don't update much of anything these days. Sometimes. Rarely. I might get better at this, maybe not. Life seems to have caught up to me a bit more than I'd have liked recently.
