Yeah, so it's really tempting to wear the corset for Jen's wedding. I have the *perfect* black dress to go under it.... But I"m not doing it. Besides, it still has to be taken in. And this is why I think I'll be waiting a while to do so....
Ok, not really. It actually has more to do with the paper for my American History classs, which requires that I read All the President's Men, which is actually getting rather interesting now, a third of the way into it. Took it bloody long enough.... Anyway. After that, the paper will be cake. It's only 3-5 pages, and I'm not worried about it. She seems to like my bullshit papers, as I never get lower than a 92 on them, it's more the inconvenience.
On the bright side, there is no final in my life drawing class. He says that students being pressured to fraw do so badly, so we just turn in our portfolios, and it's done. Rock. This guy is sweet, and very earnest, and I like him very much. And now that we've gotten into the part of the calss where it's perfectly acceptable to have individual styles, and where I understand what's going on, I'm doing quite well, and have been used as an example. And more important, I got on the display wall, twice now. :)
I have to go to Jo Anns again tonight. Need more supplies fro my 2D projects. I know what the final will be, and it rather annoys me. As much of the class does, really.... But it's almost over, and I'm almost free. These are the grades I'm most concerned about, seeing as I need to do really well in these classes and have something to show for them, given that I have to prove that I am worthy of recieving credit for them. I think foundations are supposed to transfer no matter what as long as you pass, but I don't really know. So just to be sure.... I'm not at all worried about life drawing now. Some of those sketches were quite good, even after I hadn't seen them for a while. :)
