The things you'll do for a friend....

Just got back from fitting people at Jen's, trying to make the wedding attire fit people in a more or less decent way. And just for the record, I hate doing alterations. I'd rather make the entire piece, and have it fit right the first time. oh well. I have a shopping list now, fairly long, but not too bad, and a list of measurements I need for the last member of the party. And I'm pretty sure this will result in long screaming sessions, too. Eh, whatever. It's all for a good cause. And I got to see Sarah again, which was very cool, as it's been a long time, and she's very cool. I think I'm going to add her to my friends list.

So yes, altering stuff. I think I can get most of it done by April, which is pretty good, considering that the wedding's in June. Mine hasn't srrived yet, and I think it too will need to be changed. I'm losing weight, and it likely won't fit right. But the corset adjustment does not look that difficult. It's a nice design, too, so I"ll be able to incorporate it into real clothes wardrobe, too. :)

And we're watching Serial Experiments Lain now. I love this anime....
