Clubbing

We just got back from the local goth club.... I think I haven't been there in about two years. It was a bit of a culture shock. I haven't seen so many darkly clothed people in one palce in soooo long. Remy even looked gothy enough that even Avery couldn't have any complaints. They got a new DJ, who didn't suck as badly as the last one, but there was still a lot to be desired. Kat, you would have loved the punk who was there. He was pretty, and muchly fun to watch dancing. Penny is a bartender now, and didn't know how to make a martini. And there were none of the "your kind doesn't belong here" types.

It's odd to be in a goth club wihtout my usual cast. No Avery, no Kat, no Gabe.... It was a little disorienting. Which is not to disparage any of the people we were there with--a friend from school, and two of his friends.

Another first today--I have never before polished one of my friends with the clothing equivalent of Armor-All. (Jeremy wore a latex shirt, and needed help with polishing it. I was elected.)

So now.... To bed. Heeheehee.

maybe you should DRAG me along some night...who's more of a vision in leather & black than me? muscles and beer and tattoos and few are more sullen and able to speak in incredibly depressing verse (and able to do a multitude of things with rope...) than me. i'd be the life of the party. and maybe just maybe i could cruch some skulls too! WHOOOT!

on that note murphy's law is playing soon...unless we missed it! be there or be square!
