So I got the tracking number to the second package that I ordered, and it also has been delivered. To the front fucking door. I live in the basement, for god's sake! I am the thing wot lives under the stairs! It says so on the address label! I swear I'm going to put that on line two of my addy from now on.... You do *not* deliver things to me at the front door. I will never see it, apparently. So I left a message upstairs, and called the landlord, and I am not going to let this lie. I mean, there's the financial aspect. I realize it's just money, whatever, but it was also important stuff that I need/want. There was an Xmas present for Remy in that. It was delivered on the 2nd of December, so where the fuck is it??? It was also supposed to be one of the cooler things I got for him. Grrr. And the other thing? The photo paper that I needed for my final, which I replaced with a hundred dollars of paper from Stuyvesant Photo. The order itself, with shipping, was less than 65. And I ran out of paper, because I didn't get as much as I had ordered in the first place. I could have done more prints, better, for less money. And the present.... That just pisses me off to no end. I mean, there are so few people who would want something like that. And I seriously doubt they live here.
If I can’t get the original packages, I want them replaced. I don’t care by who, but this was so not my fault. This was simply glaring incompetence. I mean, my address is clearly marked in from of my apartment, which does in fact differ, however slightly, from the upstairs. This didn’t happen to Remy’s stuff, and it didn’t happen to mine until recently. I’ve had at least one thing delivered to me here, and then several to Remy, this is new. And I’m sorry, you don’t just leave something on the front step of a building in the middle of a city. It’s not a good idea. Not that I have any sort of idea who would want this stuff, it’s paper and a thing. A not interesting to most people sort of thing. I’m supposed to get back in contact with the two companies I ordered from, if I don’t hear anything from the other tenants, and ask them to have UPS do and Investigation (I can’t do it myself, for whatever reason….) and then they say they’ll figure it out. I don’t know. I’m really just annoyed at the moment. Have been since this morning.
