I'm back (sort of)

So my photography final was due on Thursday, and I had almost finished it. And then I ruined it, with the spottone that was supposed to cover up the dust spots. And I put it on, expecting it to behave like watercolor or india ink, which it did *not*. It dried so dark, all the shots were ruined. I cried. And then managed to somehow get out of presenting that day, postponing it until Tuesday. And proceeded to spend all my spare time in the darkroom, reprinting everything. Just barely finished, too, with one sheet of paper to spare. But it's almost done now, almost perfect prints, half of them mounted, hooray!

And in the flurry, I forgot that I have a five page paper due tomorrow. On a book that I hated.

But I did get all sorts of Festive Winter Holiday shopping done. Got a candle chime thing for my grandmother to replace the one that was burned up in the attic, to go with some ornaments that I tatted for her. And a thing for Sarah, and Remy got a nifty clock/watch thing, he’s got pictures posted in his journal…. It’s damned cool. If he hadn’t been there, I would have bought it for him. And I’m bidding on two antique peg wooden dolls on Ebay, one for my mother and one for me. They come as a pair, and I’ve always wanted one too. I’ll find out tomorrow whether or not I have to go look for another one…. Wish me luck. : ) And all Remy’s presents are wrapped up, except for the ones that either aren’t here, or that haven’t been made yet. He’s allowed in the studio again now.

I’m procrastinating…. I don’t what to write the stinking paper.
