We found a really good restaurant, in Troy, that serves Carribean/Jamaican food. It's on the same block as Shalimar, and it's wonderful. We had jerk chicken, and the sauce was hot enough, and well flavored, the grapefriut soda (Ting!) was much fun, the plantains were lovely, it's bright yellow and cheerful inside, and everyone was soooo very friendly. I'm so happy! Carribean food just has that effect, I guess.... But honestly, it is wonderful. Go there. I don't remember the name, it was something like First Choice Carribean Cuisine. It's delightful. Glee! Joy! Bliss!
