So I"m starting to actually appreciate some of the information I'm getting for my classes. I just found a sermon in Middle English on the topic of Mary Magdalene, and I recognise the history he gave from the Golden Legend, which I have not read, but have read enough people writing about it to feel as if I had. In any case, it is wholly inacurate, and terribly interesting. Well, it *could* be accurate, but I really doubt it. Anyway, if you are so inclined, here it is. Also, from the main page of this index you can find many, many pieces of glossed Middle English lyrics.

Also, there's an article that I must order from Interlibrary, on women singing about pragnancies out of wedlock. Very neat. Feminae rocks. I might very well use this one, if not, then I have a copy of the Ballad of the Tyrannical Husband that will serve quite well. Especially seeing as it was used in the book I just read for the same class. It's still a bit frustrating, though, to have to try to figure out exactly *what* this professor wants. Really, it is a bit intimidating when the graduate level class is easier than the undergraduate one. I really wonder exactly what it is that she wants in these papers. No one is happy at all in how she grades them, and she gives no input at all in how to fix things. Especially considering that, after the fixes I put on subsequent papers for all the things she said were wrong with the first one, I still got bad grades. It's terribly frustrating, seeing as I"m used to getting quite good grades, and I really, really have to do well. Very well, as I can't afford to go to higher level schools without scholarships. Ergh. So frustrating.

The dress is done. The sleeves are not, but that can be fixed soon enough, as I have only to hem them. Dress, belt, sleeves, chemise, socks, shoes, All I lack is something with which to cover my head properly, as befits a decent woman. Eh, a scrap of cotton will have to do. Turban it or something, I guess. Now to re-organise the notes. Again.

I realise this journal is less interesting than usual. And I don't care, except that it's really just a reflection on how very, very uninteresting my life has become. And it wasn't that interesting to begin with, really.

No, no! You don't suck, I just find my own endless ranting (when I get around to it, anyway) about how much I hate writing papers to be a little...old. Perhaps I should try to get out more. :)

And I'm glad you liked the link.

you are interesting enough. :)
Sometimes it's good to just have lull periods in the interest level of one's life. Lets you catch your breath between blitzes. ^^

There is that! While long on stress and annoyances, I do have a noticeable lack of drama. Which is good.
