ok, so I'm being a quiz whore.... like that's a surprise. What can I say but that I'm bored> classes start on Moonday, and I'm going to go insane. I already know this. Two art history--Early Medieval Art and Impressionists through post-impressionists. That second onw goes until 8.30 on Monday nights. And three literature as well. English Lit 1 &2, and Science Fiction. I looked at the course description for SF, and it runs from Verne and Welles to the modern age, so since I quite enjoy the old stuff, this should be good. I was worried. Eng 1 begins with Beowulf and goes through Milton, and 2 runs Restoration to medern. 2 immediately follows 1 in the same roome, but not the same professor. I do hope someone decides to run a course in Chaucer sometime in the future, as I'd love to study him. Especially as pertains to costume history.... Heh. I can find ways to combine my major and my minor, for absolutely no good reason at all. I might as well. I'm going to be stuck in school for likely another three years ib tital, I might as well study everything I want to, and take two majors. It makes sense to me.... I think the onlly Gen Ed I have left here is Science anyway. Ah yes, the other reason I don't want to transfer back to Albany--fewer Gen Eds here. Woo hoo. or something. Yes. And my mother gave me a pressure cooker, and I know I'm getting old because I really liked it. She said she was getting me something I really wanted, and I knoew it was going to be kitchen goods, and I was actually rather pleased by the idea. God, I'm getting so fucking domestic....

As costumes go, for those that care, I finished the buttons. 58 of them, I think, was the final count, though most of those are not functional yet. *Yet*. So now, being bored, and having decided that it's rahter plain being only red and nothing to break it up, I started embroidering it. Dark green and pale yellow thread in a thin gothic border around the neck, and eventually around the wrists. It looks like something one would see in a cathedral, and came from a photo of period embroideries. I think it had been a church hanging or something before that though.... Eh. It looks pretty, and that's what matters. And I can wear it to my mother's house for christmas or something, seeing as it's the right colors for that and all. Unintentional, I swear. So yeah, I doubt anyone cares about that, but it amuses me. Oh yeah, and I cut out the pieces for a generic tunic. I'll probably sell it, or lend it to someone for Hunters and then either sell it or trade it for more fabric or something. I don't know yet.
