Wheee! I just finished All the President's Men, and can now commence reading fun books again. Hooray! Though, I still don't quite know what the point of reading it was, as it has *nothing* to do with the paper we're supposed to write about it--what were the long lasting implications of Watergate, and how did it affect American society at the time? Bother. I suppose we're supposed to think now. Problem being, though, that I'm supposed to quote from the book. Which is going to be mighty hard, considering that it was more or less irrelevant, except for detailing how it came out in the first place. The public is barely mentioned. By the end it wasn't quite so awful, but it still wasn't the sort of book I'd volunteer to read on a whim. Sorry.

And in a couple hours, Matt and Kati will be here! Yay! I think the plan is to wander River Street, and look at protty shiny old things, and try to avoid buying anything. And at some point, coffee. That is essential. Aside from that, though, It's going to be good to see them again, brcause it's been ages. Since July, I think? I don't know. This is the first time he's been in town since then when it's been possible to meet, and so it's a god idea to do so. Plans were made yesterday, after deciding on Thursay (Wednesday?) that it was a good idea, and possible. I should start getting ready at some point, really....

And another thing. Pushups hurt, if you do too many of them. But it seemed like a good idea at the time....And the scratches on my leg from the briars (those were really deep.... still all red and angry) are finally starting to stop hurting so badly. This is good.
