You would love New Orleans. And as that is west of Syracuse, then there are at least a few things that probably aught exist there. I'm still sort of contemplating the Textual History program in Seattle, but I'm not sure at this point if I'll ever actually *get* there. Oh well. LA is allowed to exist if for no other reason than that they have excellent restaurants. And there are lovely flowers there all year.
This is probably true. The only one I've been to so far was NOLA, and I spent all my time exploring the city, and having really neat adventures, but I left not quite feeling like I had the full "convergence experience". I did, however, come back with lots of interesting stories, which is just as good.
