Departure.

Having read many of the things about the recent fashion show problems (hardly all, as I'm still rather busy with sewing), I spent a while trying to decide whether or not I should drop the show. I mean, it's my first, and perhaps leaving that would be a blow to my credibility as an artist and businesswoman, and would almost certainly mean that I'd not get as much exposure, which I desperately need now.
But the more I read, the more apparent it became that to remain in this farce would be an even more unbearable blow to my reputation as a human being. I do not want to stand by and watch something that people have cared about be torn to pieces for the sake of pro-gress (-fit?) because we "bring nothing" to them. More importantly, I do not want to watch someone I have begun to care about be torn apart. I do not want to be party to the betrayals, or the lack of care about what has in the past been an important event at Convergence. I do not want to give my tacit approval to them by remaining in their official show.
And so, I am also gone.
it might also be mentioned that it is hardly useful to a fledgeling business that I appear in such a clusterf--- of a show, run now by people who clearly do not have my best interests at heart - more like under their buckled, pointy boots.

Three Crows Textiles will appear at Kambriel's Phoenix Parade show.
