Feb. 22nd, 2003 11:24 pmSo I found on my computer just now (when it came on, really) a copy of David Byrne singing Sympathy for the Devil, live. I am amused. So far I think the only other version I have is the Stones, having not been able to track down the Jane's Addiction version.
Also just got off the phone with Kat, which should happen more often.... I miss her muchly. It's been how long since we saw each other? Remy got to speak to her too, and he was amused. As it should be.
Went to the club last night, and got to see Avery. I really think that if he's there, the music will suck. When he isn't here, it's fine. Yes, there's still too much EBM, but they do play goth music there (imagine that, at a goth club....) and things that I can dance to, just not when Avery's there. Ever. I think there were maybe four songs that could be considered goth last night. Maybe they just don't like him there. So in a fit of obnoxiousness, Remy and I danced the corabushka to one of the EBM things that had something like a beat to it, and had fun. Turns out, you really can't do that if anyone else is on the floor. Funny that, a dance with that much spinning should take so much room.... Anyway, it was good. And Remy still makes a pretty gothy boy.
