Midterms....

More school. And lots of tests.... Being an idiot, I missed what would have been my first, just a quiz so it didn't really count for much, but still. Actually it was flu more than idiocy, but still.... That should be Wednesday, I think. On Tuesday I had a sort of midterm/progress reviw in photography, and I"m doing well. Yay me! Took my logic midterm on Friday and should have the results today, and today I have the midterm in the Growing up in America class. It's frightfully depressing, in that "this is how all the disenfranchised lower classes live" sort of way. And everyone in the class seems either supremely angry or defensive. They all seem to think it's about them in some way. Feh. Why they can't grasp that these booka are *not* universals, they are a particular story about a particular person in a particular place (and some of them even ficticious!) I will never understand. And I'm convinced that the defensive ones (All white) are suffering from some sort of monumental guilt complex. Wonder what they're hiding.... I don't really, though, I can guess easily enough.

I still have things to think about before I try to post this second bit.

Anyway, I do hate midterms.
