Changes
Everyone who warned me not to cut my hair again will be terribly disappointed in me. But you know what? It looks really cute. I like it. Of course, when it's wet I just look like a chubby Louise Brooks.... When it dries out though, it's terribly cute. It curls just rightover my cheeks, and I like that. Every time I shake my head, hair falls out of it. Every time I turn too quickly, there's this shake that wasn't there before, and no swish. I think it may be a little long in the back, I'll try to get Remy to fix that for me, but for now I like it. And it's also still black. Fadign, as I seem to have found the only really temporary black dye. Garnier. When it says 24 washes, apparently it means it. I always have this puddle of purple at the bottom of the tub, and then I put my wet head on the pillow, and now it's purple too. Mimeograph purple, even. :) And now I have hair for doing Victorian hair jewelery. I can make mourning stuff! Yay!
I also wrote a great deal for no good reason. I don't know what it's supposed to be, or where it's going. There's a girl who seems to be a seer, or at least has interesting dreams. Puck was there, and I think he's supposed to return, unless he gets killed. There are fairies of various flavours. There is a religion, of some variety, and it seems to have soemthing to do with stasis. And by extension, stagnation. So far the colours mentioned are grey, black, white, green, and red. I tihkn I'm goign to keep that as long or often as possible. There is a house that remembers a very bad night, and a dream of ill portents, or bad bread. She has or had a lover. He is either alive or he isn't. Symbolically, he has to be male, for the whole birth/change/opposite thing. And that's as much as I know, which is good. If I know what the characters are goign todo before they do it, then I stop writing about them. So far these are being all sorts of secretive. She's telling visions to Puck, who collects them for someone, but I dont know who yet. I guess I'll find out later, if they ever decide to tell me. Either way, I'm writing again. Which is good. I ahvne't done this in way too long, aside from on LJ. I don't think I'm goign to serialize it, unless people really want it. If you really want to read it, I can email as I go. Otherwise, I'll just keep it here in my computer safe and inviolate.... Yes. That's it. Besides, if you decide to read it, then you'll probably get conscripted into proofing it or something. ;)
